Fusion Pilates for Pregnancy and Post Pregnancy with Jennifer Gianni
This course integrates progressions and adaptations to meet the biomechanical demands in exercise programming for the pregnant and post pregnant client. In-depth concentration on Core Knowledge, Breathing Techniques and Three Trimester Programming are based on Pilates and Yoga principals.
- Receive 12 PMA CECs
- Learn the latest techniques on safe and effective Pre and Post Natal exercise
- Learn to maintain relaxation, strength and flexibility in your pregnant clients
- Learn to teach practical methods for labor such as breathing and postures
- Learn to prepare your client for an easy recovery after delivery
- Learn how to properly deal with a diastasis, episiotomy, c-section in post pregnancy
- Learn how to build a program of exercise for your post pregnant client from 24 hours after delivery on
- Receive training DVD of protocol for the equipment work
Course Consists of:
- 20 Hours of Lecture
- 3 Homework Assignments
- Certificate of completion authorized by Jennifer Gianni & Long Beach Dance Conditioning
Requirements:
- MUST READ The Female Pelvis Anatomy & Exercises by Blandine Calais-German before the first day of class. (Available at amazon.com)
- Bring a pillow to class to use as a pregnant belly
Schedule:
January 8, 2010, 2 pm until 7 pm
January 9, 2010, 9 am until 6 pm
January 10, 2010, 9 am until 5 pm
